Tar Wars Program
Northeast Georgia Health System partners with Barrow County School System to teach students about the health effects of tobacco use. TAR WARS is a tobacco-free education program developed by the American Academy of Family Physicians.
Fourth and Fifth grade students participate in the poster design contest. North Georgia Medical Center has partnered with BCSS since 2018 to provide the TAR WARS program.
