Welcome to the Barrow Online Campus - the distance learning hub for 7th-12th grade students!

Students enrolling at the Barrow Online Campus (BOC) will have a more flexible experience that blends synchronous and asynchronous online learning. All courses will be facilitated by Barrow County School System teachers.

To be successful, students must be highly motivated and able to manage their time effectively. Additionally, parental support is critical. An approval committee consisting of BOC staff and the student’s current school administrators will determine if this is an appropriate setting for each student who applies.

Barrow Online Campus (BOC) provides a full-time online learning option for 7th-12th grade students who reside in Barrow County. BOC learners have access to a wide range of courses, including those required for high school graduation. Students are also able to work online using a schedule that works best for them. BOC will offer many of the same courses as other BCSS middle and high schools but in an online format.

Any student who resides in Barrow County may express interest in enrolling in the BOC full-time program. We strive to serve every student who is interested in learning online, although a waiting list may be implemented if applications exceed capacity. Please note, any student who receives special education support must have an IEP meeting prior to enrollment at BOC to determine the most appropriate placement.

Families who are not currently enrolled in BCSS are encouraged to review registration requirements on the school system's registration information page.

If you would like to learn more about online learning opportunities at BOC, please email Kelley Scredon, Program Administrator.
