We're happy to announce Leah McConnell as our new high school Math Content Specialist. Through her role, Leah will work alongside the Teaching and Learning Team and school administrators to provide support to teachers to implement instructional practices for a positive learning experience for students in the mathematics classroom.

Leah has 15 years in education. She's taught high school mathematics in North Carolina and with Jackson County Schools. Outside of teaching, she has 10 years of experience in the business sector as a mathematics coach, as well as an assessment and curriculum specialist. She also currently serves as a community coach for Open Up Resources and as a content specialist for K12 Assessment Solutions.
