Kelly Robinson grew up in Brooklyn, New York. She graduated from Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts in 1991. She went on to get her Master’s degree in Social Work from Louisiana State University. In Louisiana, Kelly worked at the Baton Rouge Battered Women’s Program and West Jefferson Medical Center on their psychiatric unit. Ms. Robinson also worked as a Social Work Program Manager at New York Hospital / Cornell Medical Center on the upper east side of Manhattan. Her final social work position in the 1990’s was at South Florida State Hospital in Pembroke Pines, Florida. After leaving this position, she went into education and has been a high school and middle school Spanish teacher as well as a school administrator. Ms. Robinson received her Educational Specialist Degree from Piedmont College in 2014.

Kelly works as a Social Worker for Foothills Regional High School and began working as a Barrow County School Social Worker in July of 2023. Ms. Robinson speaks Spanish and French and enjoys using her language skills to better serve students and families.

Kelly serves Bramlett Elementary School, Winder Elementary School and Russell Middle School.

Ms. Robinson has two daughters, Nadege and Simone, and two grandsons, Magnum and Roman. She enjoys spending time thrift shopping, decorating, playing with grandsons and connecting with friends and family.
