Apalachee High School welcomes Kelley Scredon as a new Assistant Principal for the 2025-26 school year. The Board of Education approved her new position during the March Board Meeting.
Ms. Scredon has worked in education for 18 years. She began her career as a high school classroom teacher. She eventually began to teach CTAE pathways and served as a special education team leader. She has served as the assistant principal for Barrow County's Horizon program for the past five years.
"I'm looking forward to joining the Apalachee team and learning from the people around me. I'm honored to be added as an administrator in such an important and impactful year for healing and growth."
Ms. Scredon is currently working towards her doctorate degree in School Improvement.
