An ideal candidate would have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Public Relations, Mass Communications, Education or related fields
- Experience with website content management, web analytics, best practices, and ADA Compliance requirements
- Proven marketing experience with social media campaigns, graphic design for digital and print, and photo editing (Knowledge of Canva and Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and Illustrator preferred)
- Background in design, delivery, email list segmentation, messaging, scheduling, and analytics of email marketing communications

SCHEDULE, BENEFITS & SALARY
The salary range is dependent upon experience. Barrow County School System offers an impressive benefits package, including the Teacher Retirement System (TRS) which provides pension benefits upon retirement. As a 236-day calendar employee, you will share many of the school breaks. See our staff calendars. This role will require some evening and possible weekend events.
