Caitlin Maynard is excited about serving the Barrow County School System in the field of educational technology! She believes that effective technology integration can enrich student experiences and help push our students to the next level of success.

Caitlin completed her student teaching experiences in Barrow at Russell Middle School and Apalachee High School. After graduating from the University of Georgia, Mrs. Maynard started her teaching career at Russell Middle School in 2010 as the Choral and Music Director. In 2017, she continued her education by earning a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from Valdosta State University. Shortly after, she realized she wasn't done in her lifelong learning journey. She then pursued a Specialist degree from Kennesaw State University in Instructional Technology, which she obtained in 2020.

Caitlin is from Barrow County and credits her teachers from Statham Elementary, Russell Middle, and Winder-Barrow High School for getting her to where she is today. Her husband, Kerry, is an 8th grade teacher and coach at RMS, and their son, Will, is a BCSS student. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs, and watching cooking competition shows.
