Winder-Barrow High School Senior, Jadaan Cooper, reflects positively on his last four years in Barrow County.
Jadaan spent a lot of time outdoors while growing up. He enjoys fishing and being in nature.
His love for the outdoors inspired him to pursue agriculture pathways.
Not only did he find a love for fishing during his time outside, but he found a passion for sports.
Jadaan would play football out in the yard starting at a young age. He would continue with the sport throughout high school.
“Football teaches you a lot of valuable skills like communication, accountability, and trusting your teammates,” said Jadaan. “In the classroom and in the workforce, you have to apply those learned skills”.
Not only has he played football throughout his high school career, Jadaan has also participated in track and field at WBHS.
Most recently, he has advanced to compete in the State Track and Field Sectionals for Long Jump.
Jadaan plans to attend Georgia Southern University to play football and pursue a degree in Environmental Engineering.
