Parent Advisory Council

Parent Advisory Council

The Barrow County School System Parent Advisory Council (PAC) is an inclusive group of parents/guardians and community members who work together to advocate for the voices of our families and staff members to create positive change within our schools.

The BCSS PAC is dedicated to ensuring all voices in the Barrow County School System and community are heard, respected and investigated. Our goal is to break down racial, socio-economic, and societal divides that are affecting our community by working together to improve communication, curriculum, and procedures within the district through brainstorming solutions. By representing all BCSS families, it is our responsibility to engage with others in our community on a consistent basis to ensure that we can collectively identify the pulse of our stakeholders. We will work diligently to support our school district in its vision to being Boldly Committed to Student Success.
