We are thrilled to welcome Julie Schirmer to the Barrow County School District as our new District Math Content Specialist!
Julie brings with her 23 years of experience in education, along with a deep commitment to student achievement and instructional excellence. For the past eight years, she served at Colham Ferry Elementary in the Oconee County School System. Prior to that, she spent 10 years with Atlanta Public Schools and 5 years at Liberty Elementary in Illinois.
"I am excited to be part of the Barrow County School System and serve as the Math Content Specialist. I look forward to working with devoted educators to support effective math instruction and student success. My goal is to create engaging and meaningful learning experiences that support academic growth and inspire students to become lifelong learners."
