Mrs. Katie Brown has been teaching Algebra I at Apalachee High School since 2017.
AHS Principal Jessica Rehberg nominated Mrs. Brown for this spotlight. She says, "Katie has taken Math RTI and owned it for our school. She places students with proper teachers and ensures interventions happen with fidelity. She is also the leader of our Algebra PLC; they are continuing with Open Up Curriculum with new standards and designing a new Final Exam. Under her leadership, they work hard to ensure student success in what is a difficult high school course for a lot of our students."
