It was such a joy to surprise Mrs. Erin Bond at Holsenbeck Elementary School with the announcement that she was the BCSS Super Star Teacher for February!
HES Principal Aperil Sellers nominated her. She says, “Mrs. Bond is an exceptional teacher who continually seeks ways to challenge, motivate, and encourage her students to learn at high levels. Once the school bell rings for dismissal, Mrs. Bond begins researching and collaborating with special area teachers such as our SCOPE teachers to plan, analyze data, etc. to ensure she is effectively planning instruction to meet the diverse needs of her students. Mrs. Bond understands the importance of connecting with parents and works tirelessly to partner with the families of the children she serves. Mrs. Bond is not satisfied with the status quo and is always casting a critical eye on the quality of her instruction and is constantly evaluating her effectiveness as an educator. Most importantly, Mrs. Bond sees the best in children and helps them learn to believe in themselves."
