Georgia Technology Competition State Leadership Conference

Congratulations to our students who placed at the Georgia Technology Student Association (TSA) State Leadership Conference! More than 3,000 competitors from across the state participated in the event at the Classic Center on March 16, 2024.

Three Winder-Barrow High School projects and one Apalachee High School project were awarded top-three trophies. This advances these students to the National Championship in Orlando this summer!

Winder-Barrow's TSA Chapter brought 16 competitors to the State Leadership Conference. The WBHS team put in hundreds of hours and showed up well-prepared to compete in a wide range of events. The chapter finished the conference with nine semi-finalists qualifying for Nationals!

Also advancing to the TSA National Championship from Apalachee High School's Chapter is Aidan Russell. Aidan was awarded 3rd place in CAD Engineering and a top 10 in Transportation Modeling.
 
The Barrow Arts & Sciences Academy Chapter sent twelve competitors in nine events and had several students finish in the top twenty.
