Mr. Roper grew up in Gwinnett County and began teaching in 2007 after getting his Masters in Education from Georgia State University. He is joining the staff at BASA after teaching social studies and coaching track and cross country in Macon at Howard High School for the last 11 years. Outside of teaching Mr. Roper enjoys cooking, video games, and watching Atlanta United and the Braves.
