Eric Stoker brings over 20 years of experience and a passion for education to his role as Assistant Principal at Haymon-Morris Middle School. With his dedication to student success and his commitment to fostering a positive learning environment, Eric plays a crucial role in supporting the school's mission of academic excellence.

Eric's journey in education began over two decades ago when he started his career as a high school engineering teacher. Motivated by a desire to make a broader impact, Eric pursued advanced studies in educational leadership and administration. He earned his specialist’s degree from the University of Georgia.

As Assistant Principal, Eric will work closely with the school's administration, teachers, and staff to develop and implement effective educational strategies. "I am a firm believer in creating a safe and inclusive environment that encourages students to explore their full potential." Eric will actively collaborate with teachers to design engaging curriculum, implement effective instructional techniques, and promote student-centered learning.

Eric's commitment to student well-being extends beyond academics. "I believe in empowering students to become responsible, compassionate, and confident individuals who are prepared for the challenges of high school and beyond."

Outside of his professional life, Eric enjoys spending time with his family, traveling around the world, UGA football (27 year season ticket holder), and spending time outdoors. He has been married for 30 years to his wife Melissa. He has two children (Savannah 28 and Hudson 21), a son-in-law (AJ), and 3 labs.
