As a school psychologist, I work with students, teachers, and families to promote successful learning and life skills. I conduct psychological assessments and work closely with teachers to develop educational plans to support diverse learners and promote positive behavior in the classroom. I am fascinated with child development and the varied and diverse ways people learn. My favorite part of my job is determining student’s individual strengths and weaknesses and developing ways to support their learning and achievement both in and out of the classroom.

I began my career as a School Psychologist in North Carolina before moving to Georgia. I have worked with students of all ages as a volunteer, a teacher, and a School Psychologist. While volunteering at my children’s schools, I became aware of and impressed with Barrow County’s support of students with diverse needs. I joined Barrow County Schools in 2020 and am thrilled to be a part of such an amazing team of psychologists, teachers, and administrators!

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and children, my pets, crafting, and reading. I am proud to be a parent of 2 children in the Barrow County School System and am excited to be a part of the BCSS Special Education Department!
