These exceptional students didn’t just earn their high school diplomas—they also walked away with over 40+ technical certificates in fields ranging from automotive and welding to computer programming and early childhood. This achievement marks a significant milestone in Barrow County’s commitment to preparing students for real-world success.

The Accelerated Career Diploma program allows eligible high school students to simultaneously earn:

  • A high school diploma
  • And one of the following:
    • An Associate of Applied Science Degree
    • A Technical Diploma

Two approved Technical Certificates of Credit (TCCs)

This dual enrollment model ensures students graduate career-ready, with industry-recognized credentials that align with Georgia’s high-demand workforce needs. Best of all, the program is tuition-free thanks to the ACE Grant, making it accessible to students across the state

Barrow County’s 2025 cohort exemplifies the power of this opportunity. With over 40+ certificates earned among them, these graduates are not only academically accomplished—they are workforce-ready and poised to make an immediate impact in their chosen industries.
