March is Apply to College Month for the spring semester! Over 40 colleges and universities and technical schools are waiving the application fee during March 1-31. WBHS will host an Apply to College and FAFSA Completion Day for students and families on March 19 from 9am-12pm in the WBHS Media Center. Experts will be on site to help answer questions on completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Let us give you the support you need for where you're headed after Winder-Barrow.
Also, Athens PROBE College Fair happens March 22! The University of Georgia will host the annual Athens Probe College Fair from 6-8 pm at the Classic Center located in downtown Athens.
Anticipating admissions representatives from nearly 100 colleges and universities from across the U.S. to be in attendance this year. A list of the colleges registered to exhibit the Athens PROBE Fair is available here.
Students should pre-register for the Athens Probe Fair at RegisterProbe.org to receive a QR code to bring to the fair. Student registration will close one hour prior to the advertised start of the event.
College representatives will have a mobile phone scanning app to capture the information of interested students.
