Graduation Guidelines

In the best interest of graduates, staff, guests, and neighbors, please review the guidelines below concerning the Class of 2025 graduation ceremony at 8 p.m. on May 23 at the WBHS football stadium. Let's work together to make it a safe and memorable night for our seniors!

Parking details:
  • Parking at the school will open at 5:30 p.m. 
  • Graduates and guests may park at the stadium, near the gym, and in whatever legal space you find on the street, but there is no parking at the Field House or the Creek Lot.
Graduation Guidelines
Seating & Stadium details:
  • Stadium gates will open to guests at 6 p.m.
  • Everyone will be screened through the weapons detection system.
  • Only clear bags will be allowed through the detectors and inside the stadium.
  • There will be 4 entrances with checkpoints.
    • 3 on the student lot side of the stadium (Please use the shortest line at the time of your arrival.)
    • 1 on the Langford St. side of the stadium
  • Graduates should arrive starting at 7 p.m. and be on the track at 7:30 p.m.
  • There is only one restroom area open for everyone. Lines may be long.
  • Water will be for sale at the concession stand.
  • Balloons, tents, and noisemakers are not allowed in the stadium. Be mindful of signs that could block the view for others.
  • Watch the livestream of the ceremony through our YouTube channel.
Other items to note:
  • Fireworks will start immediately following the last speaker.
  • You may take photos on the field after the fireworks, but the stadium lights will be dimmed 15 minutes after the fireworks end.
  • The weather make-up date is set for Saturday, May 24. Time TBD.
