New Bell Schedule & School Start Time
BCSS bell schedules and transportation options for the upcoming 2020-2021 school year have been evaluated by a study committee and a consultant group over the course of the past school year. Two scenarios were presented to the Board of Education last month with a recommendation for Scenario 1.
On June 2, the Board of Education approved the recommendation and adopted Scenario 1. This will change the start times for schools next year. See the details.
Students Moving this Summer
If your family is moving this summer, please make sure to let us know so we can ensure the correct school placement for your child(ren). Please visit our website for more information.
June Meal Program
Did you know that any child age 18 or younger can receive a free meal bag with breakfast and lunch every weekday? Just visit one of our two drive-through locations with your child(ren) in the car. Visit us from 9am-1pm at Winder Elementary or Haymon-Morris Middle Schools!

Starting on June 8, Barrow County School System will allow student athletes to resume summer conditioning and training. Read the complete details.
