Weather Watch: No Jan. 31 Activities

We are closely monitoring the next round of winter weather expected this weekend for our area. Based on the forecast and after consulting with local emergency teams, all extra-curricular activities for Saturday, Jan. 31, have been canceled.

Any decision concerning our Monday school schedule will be shared with families no later than Sunday evening through email/text messages, our websites, social media, and local media stations. If you are not receiving our direct messages, please check your contact information in the Parent Portal.

Board of Education Members Sworn-in

Welcome, New Board of Education Members!

The January 7, 2025, Board Meeting was the first for four new Board of Education members. Five members were sworn in to mark the start of their term of service.

Holt Etheridge - District 2
Jared Callaway - District 5
Dr. Darlene Carey - District 6
Renee Lord - District 8 At-Large
Paige Maddox - District 9 At-Large

The Board voted to elect Lisa Maloof as Chair and Paige Maddox as Vice Chair.
