The Apalachee High School Wind Ensemble has been selected to perform at the Minority Band Directors National Association (MBDNA) Concert and Jazz Band Invitational on April 3, 2026.

The MBDNA serves, promotes, celebrates, and mentors ethnic minority band directors across the United States and highlights significant events that support growth within the national band community.

The Invitational is a prestigious and highly selective event showcasing outstanding concert ensembles from across the region. Bands submit performance recordings and materials for review, and only a limited number are chosen each year—making this selection a true honor.

This opportunity will provide the Wind Ensemble with a professional performance environment, valuable feedback from respected clinicians, and the chance to represent Apalachee High School on a distinguished stage.
