The Barrow County School System is pleased to welcome Ms. Lisa Zielenske as a new Assistant Principal at Russell Middle School, starting with the 2026-2027 school year.

Ms. Zielenske brings nearly 15 years of experience in middle school education spanning Henry and Walton Counties as a classroom teacher. She’s a respected teacher leader, serving in roles such as PBIS coach and 8^th Grade Team Lead, while also being named Teacher of the Year in 2021.
