Congratulations to the Barrow County School System (BCSS) Class of 2026 for achieving a graduation rate of 92%. Together, 1,052 graduates from Apalachee High School, Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy, and Winder-Barrow High School made up the 92% grad rate. 

This 4-year cohort graduation rate is based on the number of students who graduate within four years of entering ninth grade. It accounts for all students who started high school in fall of 2022 and attended BCSS at some point in their high school career. This cohort is the largest to date. 

BCSS Chief Academic Officer Dr. Katherine Brown said, “We celebrate every BCSS graduate who reached this important milestone. A 92% graduation rate is a testament to the perseverance of our students and the strong partnership between families, schools, and our community.” 

"Graduation is a celebration of what can be achieved when our entire community works together," said BCSS Superintendent Dr. Dallas LeDuff. “We are proud of the dedication, perseverance, and accomplishments of our students, teachers, staff, and school leaders, and grateful for the trust and partnership of our families in helping our students succeed.”
