Super Star Teacher for November 2026

Congratulations to Tiffany Lee, a Kindergarten Teacher at Austin Road Elementary School, for being recognized as Barrow County School System's Super Star Teacher for November 2026.

ARES Principal Casey Bray said Mrs. Lee brings creative and engaging ways to make learning more meaningful. She wrote in her nomination:

“She consistently finds creative and engaging ways to make learning meaningful for her kindergarten students. She incorporates hands-on activities, movement, visuals, and opportunities for students to actively participate throughout lessons. She is intentional about meeting students where they are while maintaining high expectations and creating a classroom where students are excited to learn. She has a tremendous impact on both student learning and engagement. As one of our PBIS coaches, she consistently integrates instructional and behavioral strategies that support the whole child and create a positive learning environment. She is also a leader on her grade-level team, mentors a student teacher, and has created an exemplar classroom that we use for peer observations. Her students are engaged, supported, and genuinely excited about learning.”

“She makes a tremendous contribution to our school culture and is a true teacher leader. As a PBIS Coach, Grade Chair, and member of our School Leadership Team, she consistently steps beyond her classroom to support students, staff, and schoolwide initiatives. She brings a positive, solutions-focused attitude to her leadership roles, supports and encourages her colleagues, and is always willing to step up when needed. She models the collaboration, professionalism, and commitment to students that we want throughout our school.”
