WE ARE CURRENTLY HIRING FOR BUS DRIVERS TO JOIN OUR TEAM!

The BCSS Transportation team transports about 15,000 students every day. We provide bus drivers with fully paid Commercial Driver's License training while they enjoy the benefits of working in our district. People who love children, love being a bus driver! PAID TRAINING

  • Entry level pay starts at $17.15 and goes up to $28.36 per hour
  • Health benefits

    • Drivers may bring their BCSS school-aged children on the bus with them, if the children attend school in the driver's zone
    • Effort to place drivers in a zone where their children attend a school
    • BCSS employees can choose what school our children attend

WORK SCHEDULE

  • Time Off
    • 11.25 days paid sick leave per school year (3 can be personal days)
    • Summers off work, plus all major holidays
    • Drivers follow the student calendar - be home when your kids are off!
  • Work Schedule Fits Your Busy Life
    • Most drivers are done by 5pm weekdays
    • Weekend work is optional (field trips, etc.), but is never required
    • Drivers have a break (typically 9:30am-1:30pm) to run errands, meet teachers for conferences, etc.

GUARANTEED HOURS

  • Guaranteed hours
    • Combined 5-hour guarantee a day for drivers working morning and afternoon routes
    • Most drivers work 7-8 hours a day
    • Earn additional money through field trips and other activities
