BCSS Identity
As part of the website launch, Barrow County School System has also updated its district identity. The goal was to design a modern, updated version of the system logo that would honor the past and take us into the future. A visual identity helps us tell our story and brings cohesiveness to our district's visual elements and overall brand.
The new logo now has clean, simple lines with less detail. It preserves the colors but with a greater utilization of green to emphasize our focus on growth and improvement. New fonts within the logo also present a modern and updated look.
The central identifying mark still includes the graduate emerging out of the book and/or leaves, which is meant to show how we grow and nurture our students while guiding them through their academic lives to graduation and life afterwards. The new logo was designed by BCSS staff and is optimized for print, one color applications and embroidery.
As we roll out the new identity over the next few months, we will provide additional content that you can use, such as PowerPoint templates, letterhead, business cards, and other digital files you need. If you have a specific request, please email communication@barrow.k12.ga.us.
