The Georgia Association of School Personnel Administrators (GASPA) recognized the BCSS Planning & Personnel Department with two awards this year.
BCSS received a Gold Level Strategic Partnership award, which is based on evidence of innovative and strategic partnerships with industry to promote the hiring of the best teachers, administrators and support staff. Our partnership with Clear Concepts allows us to optimize our employee support while still meeting system financial objectives. They always have our best interest at the forefront of their work and their value is immeasurable.
BCSS was also recognized for Outstanding Recruitment for our Virtual Teacher Career Fair this year. It was developed out of a need to recruit during the pandemic when a traditional in-person fair was not possible. Principals and other staff contributed greatly to the campaign's success, but a special congratulation goes to Meggan McNally for leading this initiative.
