We're happy to announce Dedra Cooper as a new Assistant Principal and Activities Director at the Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy (BASA). The Barrow County Board of Education gave the approval at their May meeting.
Mrs. Cooper brings 26 years of experience in education to BASA. She's served in roles from teacher and coach to administration.
"I believe all students can thrive and reach their full potential when given opportunities, structure, support, and resources compatible with their needs. BASA is an amazing school that provides all of this and more for its students. I am so excited to be a Blazer!"
