$25,000 Grant for WBHS AG Program

The Winder-Barrow High School Agricultural Education program is grateful for a grant from the Georgia Power Foundation and the Georgia Foundation for Public Education. The $25,000 Workforce for Georgia Grant funded a CNC Plasma Cutting Table.

The award letter stated, "Your plan to help students to be independent, employed, and contributing members of society through “Barrow County GG Agricultural Education (AG Ed) CNC Plasma Cutting Table” was highly regarded and it is our pleasure to award you in the amount of $25,000 We are glad we could be of assistance to your organization, and we extend our best wishes for continued success."

The WBHS AG teachers are Christa Anderson and Taylor Casper.
