Celebrating Special Olympics 2024

Special Olympics participants

Barrow County School System's annual Special Olympics celebrations began in the early morning of March 29. Families, students, and community members gathered at Winder-Barrow High School's football stadium to participate and celebrate the student-athletes.

The Special Olympics is a district-wide collaboration that aims to bring together students, families, and our community through athletic celebrations. Throughout the day, students enjoyed several engaging and fun activities.

Thank you to the Special Olympics committee for working hard to create a memorable day!
