AHS Welcomes 8th Graders for Pep Rally

AHS Students Host Pep Rally

Apalachee High School students and staff were happy to welcome Haymon-Morris and Westside Middle 8th graders on March 28 for pep rallies and tours.

Coach Ashley Herrington and her cheerleading squad did an excellent job of getting the class of 2027 fired up for their upcoming freshman year. The cheerleaders also had some 8th graders participate in some fun games. Mr. Dion Muldrow's band and color guard filled the stadium with music. Principal Jennifer Martin gave a welcome speech and encouraged them to get involved in an activity or club. She let them know how excited she was to be their high school principal and hoped to see them all filling the stadium at our first home football game.

After the pep rallies, the Apalachee Student Ambassadors led the students on a tour of the school. At the end of the tours, the Chick-Fil-A Student Leader Academy had an egg hunt with some treats and Chee Bucks for the future AHS Wildcats.

Apalachee looks forward to welcoming them next year as they begin their high school journey!
