For Apalachee High School Senior, Jesus Juarez, family is paramount.
Jesus views his older brother as his role model. He plans to follow in his footsteps and enter the medical field.
He plans to attend Emory University to attain a bachelor’s degree in biology. He dreams of someday becoming a doctor and helping save lives.
“I want to give a big thanks to my family for always being there for me, even through my toughest times,” said Jesus. “I wouldn’t be where I am today without them”.
Jesus has played soccer throughout his high school career and hopes to still play in college.
“Through soccer, I’ve been able to learn very important skills to use in my life, such as discipline, hard work, and always keeping a positive and uplifting mentality,” said Jesus.
He encourages others to make the most of their time in school and to get involved with what they love.
“Take every opportunity that you’re given. You never know what can happen and keep a positive mindset no matter what scenario you’re in,” said Jesus.
Jesus will graduate in the top ten of his class in May 2024.
