HUGE congratulations to the BASA cross country team for their great runs yesterday at the Region Meet in Social Circle. BASA swept the categories, with the Varsity girls and Varsity boys team both taking first place in the region and the JV teams ran essentially uncontested. Everyone ran well and numerous PRs were set. Smita Carroll placed fourth and Emma Busbee sixth in the girls race, and Michael Fletcher placed 3rd and Jacob Carruthers fourth in the boys race. This was the last race of the year for the JV squad but the Varsity teams race one more time next Saturday in our first tilt at State Champs. Congratulations, Blazers!
