Freshmen

A great start in high school can mean an easier road to completing all that is required of you within the next four years. As a high school student, your independence and freedom increases and is more apparent. However, increasing your focus, maturity and determination maintain. Start to identify your support network with positive peer relationships, teachers, counselors and administrators. Tasks to consider can include, but are not limited to: taking the PSAT in the fall, increasing your student involvement by joining a club/sport, becoming more involved in volunteer opportunities, defining your pathway sequence to align with career goals, and talking regularly with teachers about your progress.

This freshmen page and our counseling site exists to give you all specific information that will help you navigate and remain focused this school year. The Counseling Department will assist in providing and disseminating necessary info on your freshmen year, as well as fun info in research, current trends, facts, and more.
