Three shipping containers full of KOMPAN playground equipment successfully completed their 6,500 mile journey this week and arrived on Midland Avenue for the community park being constructed on the Center for Innovative Teaching Campus!
The destination playground at CFIT is designed to be an inclusive community space to engage both the young and young-at-heart across the widest range of abilities. The playground’s assortment of elements provides thrills of speed, height, space, and role-play that visitors will want to return to again and again.
KOMPAN designers have included many popular, state-of-the-art, and custom pieces in the design. The Supernova is one of the world’s most popular playground pieces with its large, slanted, rotating ring. The Bloqx geometric bouldering elements are both unique and artistic while the Universal Carousel allows anyone to spin to their heart’s content. The design also incorporates a 100’ zip line and a wide variety of swings, including a large pendulum rope swing. The feature element is the enormous 28-foot tall Barrowsaurus net structure that is truly one-of-a-kind
