On Saturday, Jan. 20, student champions from six different school systems across northeast Georgia gathered at the Barrow Arts & Sciences Academy to compete in the Regional Student Technology Competition.
Eighty students from Barrow County Schools presented 58 projects across 14 different categories in five distinct grade level divisions. At the end of the day, 56 Barrow projects were announced as medal winners, and 44 Barrow students earned the opportunity to compete at the state championship of the Georgia Student Technology Competition on Saturday, March 2 in McDonough.
