Thanks to the generosity of churches, businesses, organizations, and community members, Barrow County School System (BCSS) families could pick up a free bookbag filled with school supplies for their children before the start of the school year. We are very grateful for our community’s support of this important student program!

Thank you again to Bethlehem Church 316 Campus for hosting this community event for BCSS. We distributed over 2400 filled bookbags with school supplies. Between 800-1000 families were served during the distribution event.

Winder-Barrow High School and Apalachee High School FFA students gathered at Farm Bureau to pack the bookbags with school supplies before the distribution. Farm Bureau provided the supplies, bookbags, and lunch for students and teachers during the packing party.
