Horizon Program Administrator

I am beginning my 19th year in education and am delighted to be the administrator of the Horizon Program, where I have been assistant principal for the past five years. I have spent 16 of my 18 years in education working with nontraditional students, and my passion is helping students with barriers graduate. My teaching background is in special education and literature.

I live in Athens with my husband, Chris, and our son Jude, who is 8. I love Georgia Football (Go Dawgs!) as well as nature walks and spending time with my family. I have an EdS in Educational Leadership from The University of Georgia. Currently, any free time is dedicated to earning my doctorate in School Improvement from The University of West Georgia.

I'm so excited for 2025-2026 and all the great BOLD things our students will achieve!
