I live in Statham with my husband, Jordan Rushing, who is a math teacher and coach at Apalachee High School and our children, Kellan (5th grade), and Max (2nd Grade), who attend Statham Elementary. I attended Statham Elementary as a student. I graduated with honors from Georgia College & State University. I enjoy sports, traveling and reading. I love being a teacher because of the "aha" moments and the excitement students show over learning something new.
