Sims DECA had a great time at the Georgia DECA State Career Development Conference. We had several first time competitors take on role plays and manual presentations, as well as some veterans. We were recognized for earning Chapter Campaigns in membership and promotional events. Brooke Loving, from Apalachee High School, was our top winner this year, placing in the top 7 in Restaurant and Food Service Management. She advances to the DECA International Career Development Conference in Nashville, Tennessee in April!
Bo Robinson, from Winder-Barrow High School, placed 8th in his Entrepreneurship event; Bo Robinson and Olivia Kesler, also from Winder-Barrow, placed 9th in their Community Awareness Project about Peace Week. We are proud of everyone’s accomplishments!
