Apply to College Week is happening Nov. 6-10 at Winder-Barrow High School.
Seniors, plug into the activities and events that help you complete the steps you want to take for after high school. You can sign up with the QR codes below! By participating, your name will be put in a raffle for some prizes at the end of week!
Take a look below at the different days and ways to prepare and celebrate the 2023 Apply to College Week! Sign-up is required for the different sessions, so work to sign-up by Friday, Nov. 3 at 3:20pm. Check the WBHS social media accounts for more daily reminders.
Everyone's plan is different, so be different. Find what works for you and use each day left in high school as a way to move forward and accomplish your plan.
Also, a reminder that November is Apply to College Month in our state. There will be 30-40 schools that waive their applications fees so even after our week, continue applying to the places you are interested in.
Nov 6 - Financial Aid Day - This is the glue that holds your college pursuit together. We'll help you with your FSA ID discuss the process for applying for financial aid and give you time to complete a scholarship search - https://forms.office.com/r/aYCXAE8KAa
Nov 7 - College Rep Panel –Hear from a few different GA based schools: UNG, GGC, Piedmont, GA State. 9am-10am in the Cafeteria. These admissions reps will discuss the process to apply and overall campus life - https://forms.office.com/r/vWdjdnqw3Q
Also, 11/7 at 6pm, we’ll host Financial Aid Night in the WBHS Cafeteria for students and families to learn more about financial aid services, GA HOPE Programs, loans and scholarships from financial aid experts. No sign up necessary.

Nov 9 - Former WBHS Grad Panel - These students have recently graduated from Winder-Barrow and want to come back and share their experiences with you. 10-11am in the Cafeteria.
