This month in Mrs. Smith's class they have been learning about the season of winter. Their activities, vocabulary, and stories have focused this week on snow and Arctic animals. One of their favorite books of the week was Polar Bear Polar Bear, What Do You Hear? Students completed a polar bear craft, using cotton balls to represent the look and feel of polar bear fur; they had the most fun with their sensory activity of mixing baking soda and conditioner to make snow!
