Tricia Church

Fourth Grade Teacher

Hi everyone!  My name is Tricia Church.  This is my first year teaching at Yargo Elementary, and I am so excited to be a part of the Wildcat family!  I bring with me 20 years of teaching experience, 18 of them in Michigan where I was born and raised. Then after moving here to Georgia, I taught at Harbins Elementary in Gwinnett County for the past two years.  Until now, I have taught kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade.  I welcome the opportunity to now be a 4th grade teacher!

I have been married to my husband, Tony, for 25 years, and we have two wonderful daughters: Kayla - 24 and McKenzie - 22.  I am also a proud dog mom to my adorable maltese named Zeus.  Some of my favorite things are Disney, the color pink, Harry Potter, movies, Chick-Fil-A, and chocolate!

I strongly believe that a child’s positive school experience is a direct result of the relationship I develop with him/her, as well as their family.  Good communication between the teacher, student, and parent is key.  So I encourage you to never hesitate to reach out to me with any thoughts or concerns you have.  It’s going to be a great year!
