Charles Williams: December 2022 BOLD Difference Maker

Every day, members of our community are instrumental to the success and welfare of our students and staff. To show appreciation, Superintendent Dr. Chris McMichael started the Community Member of the Month to recognize these individuals who are making a BOLD difference behind-the-scenes.

Charlie Williams with Bulldawg Realty is our December Community Member of the Month because of his generous and servant heart.

Westside Middle School Counselor Mr. Gary Wood nominated Mr. Williams because of the way he answers the call for students in need. "Mr. Williams has provided resources for students of Barrow County for numerous years. This has included emergency needs, holiday support, or general student/family needs. I know that I can reach out to Mr. Williams at any time and he will provide support for our students and families. He doesn’t like recognition but deserves to be recognized."

Mr. Williams says he helps because he was a student who is grateful for the community support he received when he was in school.

Thank you, Mr. Williams for anonymously stepping up for so many WMS students over the years. You are a true example of “paying it forward” and making a Barrow BOLD difference.
